Get answers to common questions about Top and bottom liner.
Top and bottom liner typically lasts 1–3 years depending on skin type, pigment choice, and lifestyle. Most clients schedule a color boost around 12–18 months; oily skin or heavy sun exposure may require more frequent touch-ups.
We apply a topical anesthetic so discomfort is minimal; most clients report pressure or mild stinging only. We monitor comfort throughout and can reapply numbing to keep you comfortable during the Top and bottom liner procedure.
Immediately you'll have some redness and tightness; tiny scabs or flaking can appear as the pigment settles. Avoid makeup, water, and heavy exercise for 7–10 days. Full color maturation takes 4–6 weeks, when a touch-up can perfect results.
Absolutely — each Top and bottom liner is designed during consultation to match your eye shape and desired look. We adjust thickness, wing length, and pigment intensity to create balanced, flattering symmetry that suits your daily routine and personal style.
Ideal candidates are adults in good general health with realistic expectations and no active eye infections. Not recommended while pregnant, breastfeeding, or on certain blood-thinning medications — consult us to discuss medical history and suitability.
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and blood thinners for 48–72 hours; stop retinol and chemical peels at least one week prior. Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes, bring contact case if needed, and allow time for consultation and numbing.
