I had such an amazing experience from start to finish.
Aurora was very nice and professional. She listened to what I wanted, explained the process and after care. Her salon was very clean and calm and made me feel comfortable.
I had micro blading and shading done, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. I wanted to change the shape and width of my brows and look fuller and darker and she did just that. The shape and color are absolutely perfect so natural and beautifully blended. Highly recommend to anyone considering micro blading and shading! My experience with Aurora was once again excellent! Aurora gave me permanent eyebrows 2 years ago, & I love them. Due to dry eye syndrome (where one eye tears constantly) I’ve been unable to wear eye makeup. I decided to get permanent eyeliner & lip color. Aurora explained the procedures thoroughly, listened to my questions & concerns, & answered them all in terminology that I could understand. She helped me select colors for my lips & eyeliner that would look natural, yet give my lips & eyes definition. I love the way both turned out! Aurora did a great job of explaining what to expect during & after the procedures. She checked in with me frequently during the procedure to make sure that I was doing ok & not feeling any pain. Aurora is AMAZING! Permanent makeup is not something in my typical “comfort” zone. I barely even wear makeup on a regular basis and don’t usually go out of my normal. If you are considering permanent makeup I would highly encourage you to have it done by Aurora! I felt comfortable going to her when I read that she used to work in the medical field.

Her clean and comfortable office in Channahon is inside a shop called Local Wildflowers. After filling out a medical history questionnaire and paperwork regarding aftercare, she explained the process of permanent eyeliner application and was thorough in explaining everything as she was doing it as well.

I found none of the process to be painful as she carefully numbed the area prior to starting. The most discomfort I experienced later that day was no worse than a slight sunburn with minimal swelling that no one could really see but me. The first session we opted to be conservative having the eyeliner mainly contained within my lash line. The touch-up session will be in 6 weeks and if I decide to go bolder we can do it at that time. So far I am very pleased with the results. She informed me that since some peeling will occur in the next week or two the line will become lighter. This is why a second session is needed and is normal for this process.

While shopping around I found Aurora's prices to be comparable and more than often better than other services in the surrounding area. I highly encourage you to schedule your appointment for always perfect, never smudged eyeliner with Vixen Beauty by Aurora!!!...more

Update 2/25/24-
Aurora is just the best. She did my eyeliner touch up and they are PERFECT.
Now- I recently had my brows done somewhere else- and there were a few issues even after the touch up. My eyebrows were too short and too light- and there were a few places that were empty. Aurora was able to spot it and correct it right away. Now my brows are perfect also! Google world- go to Aurora- you won’t be sorry. I wish I could give her 100000000 stars.

AMAZING! I started thinking about getting my eyebrows micro bladed a few years back but I finally got up the courage to do it and wow am I glad I did. Aurora made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked through the door, instructed me to ask as many questions as possible, and had a beautiful room (decorated so nice and welcoming) First, she “mapped out” how my eyebrows would look because since it is permanent make up she wanted me to look my best! She shaped out where my eyebrows would go and suggested color tones that would look best with my skin and natural hair color. Now, she does apply a numbing agent, but the actual procedure itself was a tad uncomfortable, but I would describe it as similar to getting a tattoo (if you have one). But the end result - WOW I am just amazed, I had light, patchy eyebrows but she made my eyebrows look so much fuller and more symmetrical. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Aurora because she clearly knows what she’s doing. Thank you again!
